Which are the best boots?

Ive just brought my first pair of boots, plumpt for the treemme's ive read countless forum threads on boots and if thay only last a year at best as this seems to be the case then fine.

The one thing i would say cause i know treemme boots get slated is that ive worn them for over a month and had no prolems with blisters or rubbing one week was mud plugging at the new forest show untill i start climbing thayll do just fine, bring on your comments??

I'm glad someone's mentioned Treemme at last. we are the importers and sell thousands of them so i'd be interested to hear more opinions. also introducing the Jolly boot soon - looks like a good alternative to top range Haix - lots of features and Class 2 protection. Hope it's ok for a commercial plug!

At one time all I wore was treeme boots, excellent comfort from day one.Havent had them for 2 or 3 years now, so dont know what the later ones are like.

I didn't think anybody was mad enough to try and sell the Jolly Boots. I've had a pair sat under my desk for 6 months and every body i've shown them to so far break out in laughter. I'm sure they were designed by NASA for space walking.

Jolly boots are included in the chainsaw ppe section of our website http://www.sevsafe.co.uk . Re space walking - I can't see how the Jolly boots are particularly suitable for this job - perhaps we're talking about a different boot!

Of course, we sent them out with several people to try and nobody liked them. There too heavey and clumsey and the Zip on the front soon gets covered in crap and stops working. Serveral shops have looked at selling them, infact i think even Buxtons were having a go at the AA show.

ok I'll look into it all a bit more. just one small point.. you can take out the zip and just lace up the boots as normal
