Hang on Marc,

We have many guys who find Elten's (Aquafell Xperts in particular) extrememly good.

As for claiming that Elten sprang up in the last decade is rubbish - they started making safety boots in 1909!!!

I appreciate it's your point of view but steady on the slagging!

We are developing new boots - watch this space.

We would like to give you a pair to try when their ready - if this is ok please send me your address etc to [email protected]

Regards

Hello there,

You're thinking of the old Elten's with the uncomfortable seams across the front oif the foot.

Try the Xperts - i guarantee you won't find anything more flexible, comfortable and light.

I've had the the xperts for a year now they are brill to climb in very comfortable ,take no breaking in but should have been bined a while ago .It's only the sole that seems to be the weak link .

im using the brand new hiax protector extreame there like slippers already ive had them 2 weeks. you can change the plate underneath from a flat metal plate or a plate with little spikes on, this however is not so good it says there for branch walking but in fact it ruins the branch punctures the cambium layer and if your foot slip it leaves marks on the branch:thumbdown: so i dont use this opition but a comfy waterproof boot anyhow

Hello Boots

You're right. The boots in the photos ARE CERTAINLY NOT the Xperts.

They are Lavoro Amazons!

Dave the dog - if you thought the Amazons were comfortable try the Aquafell Xperts. More comfortable, last longer and hand made in Germany.

Regards.
