today we had another early finish, just stripped it out, and lowered the stem to 70ft ready for the crane to come in for the timber. another nice day for it.

cheers silky its going perfect just need to wait for the crane to get the rest down so half a day with a crane and she will be down. then talked to the client today going to leave the stump high and i told him he should carve a seat in it. i said make it a circular seat all the way around the stump would look sweet. hes game for it aswell.

went in crack of dawn today to pick the timber off took all of a hour to get it to the floor with a 25ton city crane just had MM's to spare getting through the tight access. took it down to 4/5ft high as there going to have a seat carved into it. took a shot of the stump for you david theres quite a few signs of decay higher up aswell as in the stump shot.

 

my 3120xp managed to loose one of the bar threads into the oil tank again so ended up with my groundys 660 with 36inch bar. ended up with 3 bottles of wine from the resturant as a tip so happy days time for a nice break. when my apple imac arrives ill edit the video

p.s you'll love the imac mine amazing but steep at £1500 for a computer i thought.

it certainly wasnt nice weather at all today. not sure yet as and when peter can do it.

yer they are expensive but my laptop is like 4/5 yrs old and wayyyy past its best, thought id get the imac as its good for music and video so perfect for editing stuff.
