First stove we ever had (17yrs ago) was a Woodwarm 9Kw Fireview (with boiler), good stove. I went to get another when we moved home and noticed that the welding and brass castings were really rough. Brought a Clearview 9Kw Vision 500 (without boiler). I have to say that it out performed the Woodwarm. The clean burn was much better (no boiler) and the stove really controllable. Moved again but this time kept the Clearview and will re-install it when we extend. Running a Dunsley Yorkshire/Thermal Store at the mo, fantastic setup. Without doubt a boiler in the stove affects performance considerable.
