This post is only my opinion and I'm not saying it is factually correct - here we go.

You don't even need to look at the machine -it would appear to be a classic too good to be true scam!! The video just confirms it.

Unbelievably cheap (CHEAP is the key word)

How much are Greenmech/TW/Bandit/Jensen/etc... 8 inch chippers new?

This one is £4k hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha - I'm not wasting any more of my life slagging off what I believe to be a piece of Junk.

Someone please kill off this thread - my sides are splitting with laughter.

Surely just notifying the HSE is sufficient to close this guy down?

I mean, if it was an imported teddy bear stuffed with materials that had the potential to harm then there would be a whole watchdog programme on the subject but this machine REALLY could harm some-one, both in pocket and reputation if seen towing it!:laugh1:

As its snowing today - why not spend a bit of time in your workshop and cobble together something to rival this.

Take a piccy and post up.

I've been working on a prototype recently to go in direct competition with the chipper mentioned in this thread...

The Bodginator® 3000 10" Chipper

  • Old wooden Mangle for brash infeed
Stainless steel Butter knives Selotaped to bin lid flywheel
0.000002bhp Hamster driven Kubota engine, Latest in green technology
Based on EarlyLearningCentre ride on tractor chassis. Very lightweight.
Less than 750kg so no need for towing licence
