My tp does it too generally if you are feeding in straight timber,the last piece fragments between the rollers and chipping disc.I just use a numpty and feed his arm or leg in.failing that a good bushy bit of brash does.:thumbup:

If the big log thing wont clear it try a big log but push the stop bar when its half way through . Turn off engine . The roller is now held up and you can dig the snot out from under the top roller spigot grove .

Sorry, I should have said it's vertical feed rollers. Brash doesn't usually catch the lumps which are on the side and behind one of the rollers. Bigger logs just cause it to jam.

If it's happened a few times then open her up and lift the roller and clean it out.

Get your guys to save leafy brash for later, with bigger Chippers the light heavy wood gets chipped to, later on in the dismantle, of it's all just pure timber then not everything gets pulled through and up the spout.

I keep bits back if I notice lads not doing it.
