Hi , does anyone have a link / example of method statement for submitting to planning dept for fencing off tpo trees before commencing building works ? Even though we've fenced trees off before never been asked to submit paper work till now , advise app thanks john

Thanks , the method statements ok , but no spec for fencing specificly ... Found a link that says one foot from trunk for every 2.5 inch diameter ?

This should have been done at Planning stage and would have formed part of the survey submitted with the application. If you search the planning portal you will probably find its already done.

So were looking for a method statement to literally fit/errect the barriers then... :)

All the info I've been told is that they've granted permission for extension to this property but then added before any work can start the tree fencing method statement needs to be submitted !!

I'm only trying to sort it for a builder friend of mine and havnt been told. / shown any info about the planning app ... Tho I see what your saying & the architect should have done all this also the council should have pulled them on it before now ??
