why would you prune a tree for insurance reasons?

ime doing a tree pruning assignment and it asks me to show a tree that would need to be pruned or removed for insurance purposes. does anyone know what it means?

Guessing it would be on about a Tree that may or does have the capacity to pose a significant threat to property/target etc.

 

Ie; poential to cause subidence and/or damage through failure etc.

i am pricing for an insurance job just now, trees on a sandstone rock face have loosened rocks that have fallen down and wrecked a double garage.

 

i have to remove all the growth so it can be pinned and netted.

o thanks, its gud 2 find some available arboriculturalists who can help me with assignments. the assignment is for ND arboriculture tree climbing, pruning and dismantling. luckly the pass criteria is practical so ive got that already
