mac size and spec

I've been using a 22" mac for the last few months and do not like it at all.

Windows 8 is apparently a lot faster than 7 (real people reports, not Microsoft marketing), So I would rather have a same spec as the mac, but 2/3rds of the cost, or same price but much better specs.

I could go into a rant about what grates me about them but don't want to bore you. All I can think as to why people like macs is because they are shiney shiney. :P

Have you maxxed out your ram, you can do it yourself all instructions are on the apple site, also windows 8 is only for touch screens!

Ram isn't the issue with ours.

And windows 8 isn't just for touchscreens - there is a proper desktop/start menu etc. Also they are doing a deal where you can upgrade to windows 8 pro for £20 if you have 7.

I had issues running lion for a while and I found a solution. It was a bit complicated but worked and it all ran perfectly. If you want I can send you a pm with the link later
