Had something bizarre happening with mine today, when I was sat back on the rope the HH was holding me solid, but the hitch wasn't engaged at all, totally slack!! I was having to jump to make it descend at all! Anyone have this happen?

I have just recently, I have just changed carabiner as my old one was wearing a fair bit. I think the new one has a slightly different profile. What carabiner are you using?

It's the steel one that came with it. Has changing yours made a difference?

Yes it has, sometimes it jams on a goodun. I am guessing after a bit of use it will loosen up.

I did a sappy pine the other day, I'm wondering if maybe the heat sink might be sticky where I can't see it! I'll take it off and clean it tomorrow and see if it makes a difference!
