Well, my 40th has arrived today.......and so did 60m of kernmaster 😃 The HH is totally different on it compared to my last rope! Before it was great, now it's blooming wonderful 😀

It's 13mm Yale xtc Al. I thought it'd be better on a thinner rope but didn't realise how much! I could only get 60m from a shop if not heard of before because all the usual ones on here had run out of the 50m until after Xmas!

Haha! A thin rope seems to work better drt too, must be the decrease in friction over the branch. It's nice having loads less stretch now and the kern also flows through my pantin loads better.

I made a proper loop to attach to the top of the Oxan. I couldn't be bothered to stitch it so I just used whipping twine to make tight loops an used a rubber carabiner corner trap to hold it at the top of the carabiner.

Much better than clipping my chest to the bridge ring because now the advancement is better.

Sorry.. Meant to post the above in the srt thread !! Oh well :-)

The pulley pictured above allows removal of ropewrench to switch to drt when required, without dismantling the whole system. Short tether pictured on Carib is for the return spliced end Carib.
