Just to clarify , the volcano is the really good stuff I'm talking about and I haven't tried epicord yet.:thumbup1:

 

Sorry old mill totally misread that one.. Jesse converted me to volcano, its awesome. Saying that im using hrc again now.. I need to order some volcano before the armorprus arrives!

HRC was dreadful for me on my Cougar Blue. Just couldn't stop it binding up.

 

Where are you getting Armor Pruss from? I couldn't find it anywhere.

Strange isn't it, everyone seemed to rave about CB and the HH being awesome! You have cleaned your HH haven't you? I was having loads of trouble with mine but after I gave it a good clean it's been fine. It's not happening at a certain point on your rope is it? I saw a post on a splicing page on FB where a chap was doing an eye in his CB and found that the core was in two separate parts, a couple of meters pulled straight out!
