u shouldnt be using a throwline when the lines electric anyway, spikes flipline throwbag on line.........whos the star climber on lumberjax these days, i use that term lightly

i was always told 3 tries at any one branch then change something, either your position or the branch you are aiming at .All that happens is you get peed off and tension in the arm and you will never hit it

just spike up the trees if you say thats all they do on railways,be so much quicker,not that im saying do it on on every tree that your pruning out side of railwork

just spike it all. inside the boundary anyway, you'll be back in six months to clear it back to boundary anyway!

i was talking about outside work.

im not too sure how old or new they are mate. think they have been on the go for a while tho.

they started off 10 years ago as scottish lumberjax, they were 3 pals.

they then tied in with another guy about 5 years(approx)and changed there name.

one of the original guys left and went out by himself.

i met a few of the lads last month while looking at work for them and they seemed sound and enjoyed working for the company.

by the looks of the directors cars in the car park they seem to be doing ok.

I've got a tip. Totally block out whoever is stood there watching you and shouting "get a ladder"! Seriously you've got to block out people who watch to fight off frustration. Try different angles, different weights of throwing knot and amount of loops in accordance with the distance. Also sometimes you might have to set your sights lower and take into account if its saving much time by aiming high. I've been known to suffer from rage.
