What great hobbie, iam just currently trying also purchase a piece of land for the same purpose, but no where near 12 acres. Current prices for land in Oxfordshire is approx 30 - 50k per acre, if you can find some for sale. Good luck.

i would not concreate the up rights in if you are doing it again as the concreate reactices with chemicals in the wood and there for reduces the life of the post but dont worry we all make mistakes

Do you reckon you need some hard standing to stop it turning into a mud bath if your driving to the front of the shed across field?

 

Field looks suprisingly dry atm though looking at the tyre marks

Yeah that field does have good drainage but I do intend to scrape it and lay some sub base 1
