Fed up with flash phones that don't last.

My sonim has now outlasted anything I have had previously. Clunky - yes - but at least you know when you have dropped it. Software limited but bluetooths across to the built in handsfree and pc contacts so I have no real complaints.

just ordered the latest JCB tough phone, not to replace the BB, but to have as "onsite" emergency phone. With all the heavy rain and a tough working environment, I dont want to risk any damage to the BB, yet need the phone on my person all the time. How do I forward calls from one handset to another, and is it expensive?

I had a Nokia 6250 that lasted years including sitting in pockets with sawdust and rain. I think still available as new/old stock in Singapore. Considering the Sonim XP3 now.

i just had to get a new phone my 3rd new one since september so decided to get a decent leather pouch for it as well and i don't keep it on my person when at work as i never hear it to answer anyway
