How about scrap the idea of a stihl and buy the new husky 346xp beats anything else on the market :001_tt1:

Whats the point in buyin 2nd best. A chap i sub contract for uses them. They dont start, there in and out of the menders all the time, they rattle themselfs 2 bits. Tell me somethin good about them other than there cheaper than a sthil, but i supose u get what u pay for.

I have a 341. I have loads of 346 / 357 huskys, and am a husky man through and through - yet I would chose the 341 any day over the husky. Its not quite as powerfull or fast as the Husky 357, but I would buy another tomorow, mainly because its so durable. It has a nice torquey engine and withstands the daily abuse my guys give it. I bought a 260 at the same time, which I consider to be a piece of junk.

bending the thread i know but i have a 361 and find it a bit enigmatic.cuts well on a 16" bar, seems to cut even better on an 18",even put a 25" on it occasionally for sport and it copes with softwood.only thing i find is its a split second behind on pick-up when snedding, anyone else?!
