Never had a prob with a stihl apart from the cast breakin on an old 088, and splittin a bar with a fellin wedge. oops. otherwise they start everytime. it just in my experence every husky ive used just doesn't feel as tight or as solid as a sthil and is no were near as reliable. what climbin saw do u use? bet its not a husky. dropped my 020 from 30feet. not a skratch. a husky would explode in to a million pieces. soz 2 rant just fed up with unreliabe tat.:mad1:

Yeah fair enough go with what works for you. Love my huskys for general works but I do use sthil for climbing and yeah its a brilliant saw. Never had any problems with my huskys. Each to their own eh:001_smile:

Same old banter over same old issue. I currently run a 260, and since i've had it it has proven itself more reliable than an equivalent Husky. Its running a 15" bar with an 8sprocket. Got sick of reliability issues with the Husky saws, not as good as they once were. My 372xp is now an excellent saw, but it was in and out of the dealers under warranty for ages. Come on husky, get back on track with saws of the 242/254/262/288 brilliance!
