Sounds like you have not set the auto tune . In the the book it says start the saw , bring it to full revs and cut the full length of the bar As heavy as it will allow for thee to five mins . Something along those lines . Had the same problem with my 560 untill I realised you need to do this . Not all dealers are aware of this requirement . The hot start is as follows . No choke . ( I say this as some people forget that the ignition is always on and lift the red lever and flood it ) One pump of primer bulb , decomp in and pull . Always use the decomp or you will bust the starter pull . Remember ignition resets to the on position when you turn off .

 

Spoke to my dealer today and he said is its make 3-5 cuts min(minimum) not 3-5 minutes continuous.:sneaky2:

That's what I'm saying, it's not minutes. Lets see how mine goes!

 

I absolutely love mine and i've never ever felt that towards any saw in the past . It is so light and fast , right up my street . Just hope today is a minor blip i would really hate to get problems with this saw . :001_smile:
