Scotch eggs are a hugely overrated foodstuff, most people over here never eat them, in fact I would say that if people do eat them it is out of desperation at not being able to find any proper food while at work, kinda like buying a hotdog out of a 7/11, you know its bad but its food. I actually like the hotdogs out of 7/11 which is worrying.

I am defender of the scotch egg - love 'em. I buy them from the supermarket to go in my packed lunch - generally better than the ones off the shelf in esso.
