What I mean is my local area; not going to feather my competitions nest thanks very much. Spent all my life being nice, now I'm going nasty!

well that does work two ways ! why advertise hardwood for sale and then limit who can buy it ? thats taking the proverbial if im honest .

would it seem unfair if i/we were to aim the sales of timber solely to the tavistockplymouth/buckfastleigh area just to even up the odds a bit ?

timber aint really a niche is it ? you dont want it and someone in cornwall might do thats not a niche that in my eyes is turning down money for something you dont want

Not sure fire wood is a "niche"

To be honest if the competion is going to be buying timber anyway why not have their money in your pocket :confused1:

Admittedly I'd not seen it like that. I could sell the wood in a flash to a number of my neighbours; point is I do logs aswell and need the cord so will keep if not sold; rise in demand suggests it would be prudent to keep but cashflow always needs fed!

That still don't make sense does it!
