it would do more for your company pr than it would for your pocket.

these folk will tell all their friends how lovely the tree guys were.

some jobs you cant put a price on. or some would kick the arse out of because some one is heartbroken over their kitty and would pay anything. but the first option is the best. imho

I thought about doing it as good will, PR but I bet that if the cat had jumped or I had dropped it and had got injured I would have been sued for the vets bill or had to claim on PL.

Also if it was a nail in a first floor water pipe and water was pissing through the sealing they would want a plummer out asap and pay some wacked up fee!

i rescued a cat out of a tree once,a 50 ft conifer he was about two thirds to the top and as i climbed up it kept going higher,so once standing on twigs at the top i try to get the cat in a bag the customer gave us,the little bugger was scratching the s**t out of me,once i put him in the bag the little bugger jumped 50 ft to one of his 9 lives, ofcourse the customer was watching, never been so embarrased in all my life, got paid though which was nice

2 in 14 years.

First one up a lime biatch of a climb got anchored in 50ft up so i could have a swing about to catch the little fella, got within about 10 foot and it lept out.

Second one as soon as i had thrown my rope over a limb the cat shot out of a tree like a bullet.

My last little blighter that wee'd on me was right at the top af a 60ft pine, but had edged it's way out right on the end and kept getting further away a si got closer. It put up such a fight and didn't want to come, i genuinly thought i was going to drop it.

When i did get it, thats when i felt my legs go warm and then held it out at arms length to finish it's buissiness!

Didn't charge the guy despite him offering as it was just nice to save the cat that 2 other gangs and the fire service could not do. Should of though really cause i stank of cat wee for the rest of the day!

I have pictures of where it was and it weeing some where, the groundie thought it was so funny, he photographed it.

If i new how to put photo's up, i would.:confused1:

Good vid by the way Peter.
