There will be due process, just because they are soldiers (by their own choice) does not mean they can do as they like. Count me out of any march.

No not in the slightest - but in conjunction with the above statement (in Bold), it would suggest you may have already made your mind up!

But that is your opinion - which we are all entitled to.

it s funny how clear things are from an office in london! its very easy to say i would do this and they shouldnt do that, when they really dont have a clue whats happening. the MOD and government are spineless and totally letting the forces down.

i hope these lads are cleared, its one less scumbag in the world.

in my opinion.

Si1829, You've hit the nail on the head. Due process will take place and if there is no case to answer they will be free to serve or whatever. If they've broken the law they must face the music.

I fully support our troops, but expect that they excercise the highest standards at all times regardless of rank and circumstances. So why should anyone think they should be freed when the evidence suggests otherwise? If a cartoon can cause riots and attacks imagine where this could go - just as we start to reduce our footprint.

Having been on that tour, my view is simple: if there is no threat remaining you have to preserve life. Not saying i like it but that is what the mission requires.

Would you sign a petition to release someone arrestedfor a serious crime in the UK, before due process has occured?

If anyone thinks for one minute a soldier who has lost comrades [in some of the worse possible ways] is going to administer first aid to the enemy willingly, they must be on another planet! the spineless morons in Whitehall could do with a tour imo. When you train a man to kill don't be surprised when he does it.
