For got to say the farm hows land it was on was know years a go to put a shot over any ones head on his land with out permission.

Amazing firewood but near impossible to split in lengths. Anything under six inch we cut very short and burn like that.

I always use a mechanical splitter . The outer grain is helical and the center is strait , nightmare to split by hand but wonderful woopd to burn .

I have got a good 50t of Elm that has been barned stored for 3 yrs and needs processing this winter, its seriously hard and dry!! Bloody lovely stuff!
