I finished my level 3 in Arb and Forestry this year and was going to continue on level 4. Due to some delays at the college I started looking further afield for courses in a wider range of related subjects.

So as it is I start a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science tomorrow at Teesside University and I am crapping myself!!

3 years ago all I did was drive buses. Bit of a change!

You will be fine. Stay the course and continue to work hard at archiving your goals. Many folks have had far humbler life experiences and gone forward to achieve really great things in their lives. All the best.

I've got very fond memories of Houghall. And I also remember having very similar doubts about going to Uni... I'm bloomin glad I did it though - it was definitely the right thing for me to do. Good luck with it :)

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
