Here is a little vid of some tree work the other day. You can see just how useful the skiddy is in the vid.

Nice work Theocus. :thumbup1:

Gibbon,

depending on the work you want to do,

narrow access vs. good access,

lift height required,

dimensions of your 130, back axle weights, etc,

wheels vs. tracks,

budget, etc, etc...

You might take a look at the Avant 300 series skid steers against the 427 Boxer.

That was a good video, well done on that....

I can see merits in all of the tools, the swing is a good option but heaverier, the boxer - great but rare, the Avant too is good but not so good maneovuering on a slope, MultiOne gets heavier too...

Pay your money and take your choice....

That is a well coordinated job there theocus, top work mate.

I was going to suggest the avant too, good strong well built machine but again quite pricey. Would fit on the back of your 130.

The 220 doesn't lift a great deal.

The 300 series lift quite a lot in a small package.

The down side is they are a skid steer, so you need a bit of care to drive them without damaging lawns.

With ours we tend to have turning points, i.e. wooden boards on corners. If you dont use them and spin on the spot, you can destroy gardens in seconds!!!!

The best thing i like about the skid steers, is cleaning up!!! scrape every thing into a pile, and grab it!!!! its so very quick.
