Stop at the next BT or Virgin man and offer him some cash to do it. We use a Virgin man took a cable right round our house and back into the office from outside £15.00 bargin.

 

Also they normally come the same day as its there money, not make an appointment for 2 weeks away.

well ive just had tomorrows job cancelled so perhaps on my travels i'll see if i can find a bt engineer

Not a criticism at all, but just wondering how much you would reckon to charge to go out for an hours work with travel etc. Id probably be looking in that kind of ball park after all with travel it's probably going to be 2-3 jobs a day type of work. So I don't think the amount quoted is completely unreasonable. Yep you can do it yourself, people can do trees themselves but don't for similar reasons to yourself.

 

P.s Skys figure sounds a lot nicer!! And foreigners are always welcome in any trade to boost the wage package.

its got to run through the whole house thats why i want it external....theres no way of running an extension inside without it looking messy. i need someone to do it for me...im not into drilling into walls and stuff
