What are these "hotter" plugs???

My lads 550 would not start once hot, I messed with it for ages, but it would not go. Checked for spark, all was good, but would not start!!

In the end I removed the plug from my 540 and tried it in the 550, started fine, so I presumed the plug from the 550 must be duff, I put it in the 540 expecting it not to start, but no it started fine:confused1:

Both saws have been starting and running perfectly since :confused1:

All I can think is that the 550 needs a spot on plug, but the 540 is not so fussy.
