The newer Stihl blades are sorter than ones made 10 years ago, a raker file wouldnt touch the blades back then but my newest stilh hedge cutter can be filed with ease :sneaky2: they also wear alot quicker :sneaky2:

I was downright shocked at how soft the blades were first time I filed them; it's very quick work - on one blade!

Are hedgetrimmer blades made of stuff that is not stern?

Mine seem to 'burr up' fairly fast when cutting woodier material.

Now I keep one cutter for ripe wood and another for soft growth and 'trimming' conifer on the better housing estates hhhh!

A little off your Leylandii Sir? this weekend Sir? Take all weekend Sir with your electric Black 'n' Wrecker.

I know I'm expensive Sir but you wife likes watching my muscles OOOOO!

SUITS YOU SIR!
