This is not how big can I go more how small a diameter is it worth putting through a processor. I have not yet bought or hired one but was wondering what others do with their small stuff. Do you cut it up with chainsaw, put through processor of just discard it?

Yo,

In my limited experience of processors, anything 5 inch and below might as well just get ringed up. This is quicker and with less fuss by taking the blade of the processor out and just letting the bar+chain cut to length.

I wouldn't bother selling anything less than 3inch in the round though. That would go for chipping for mulch most likely.

Personally I process the lot. Having said that I would have said below 3 inch is not cost effective to do, takes as long to cut and split as a 250mm log that will split 4 ways or more.
