In June I paid £43 plus VAT delivered and I would say it is 98% below 14 inch diameter so will be fine for my processor and then just last week I got some more from a different source at £35 roadside, again largely okay for the machine but the bits that are big ARE BIG (to me anyway!!).

What does everyone consider processor sized. How much stuff over 18" would you expect to find ? How much stuff in the load under 4" ?

Nearly everything under 15", otherwise it's oversize and would probably get separated out if there was enough (or a slightly lower price).

Regarding the small stuff, how longs a piece of string? Every tree is going to have small bits on and it all needs cutting - ultimately the more wood left behind in the wood, the higher the price is going to be as you need to fell more trees to get the same weight.

We had one guy say he wanted all his wood between 12" and 6" diameter - told him yep no prob but it'll cost more and he couldn't understand why!

All those buying it in that are quick to complain want to spend some time the other side of the fence and then they'll learn
