Bartletts / Glendale wages?

Any Climbers employed by these two or has been? I was interested to know what they pay for decent climbers?

I think you will find its around sweet FA, you would do better being a self employed Climber doing 3 days a week with some of the lovely guys and gals on here. Read the In desparate times...silky thread :-)

Did some work for Glendale 10+ years ago but not as part of a tree crew, (horticulture team) guys I worked with were ok but wages were not great.

had an interview for bartletts a couple of months ago,they was paying £78 for groundies before tax,the guys said the wages are low all round though you do get all yr perks,ie holiday bank holidays and ppe payed for ,so swings and roundabouts really...

Pity you couldn't spend some of that money on your bank holls as it would all be spent on just living

Worked full time for Glendale for a bit. They pay nearly all climbers an insulting 60 per day I was using all my own ppe and climbing gear, they would not put me through ANY training or replace ANY gear.

why do peoople see PPE as a perk? if your employed on the books then it is a leagal requirement for the company to provide PPE!!
