Here you go buzz, this was at one of our local airstrip meets, the R1 is going up against one of the quickest cars of the day.

Car will always beat bike on handling and braking though. At castle Combe, the Nissan skyline was 3 seconds a lap faster than a 1048 ducati.

yeah sorry, I was just showing how much ground the bike made up, when he really opened the taps the acceleration was awesome. We thought he would be pretty much beat from the start with the cone to get round, but to everyones suprise he wasn't.. Very very fast bit of kit.

Yeah, he did really well. The only kind of car to really have the kind of acceleration that big bikes have are the high powered Caterhams and Westfields.

my mate runs a sylvia stryker with a 195 hp fireblade turbo engine, thats damned quick, pretty competitive against cars or bikes
