you shouldnt have let them see you throw the nests out the conifers then hahahahahahaha

someone called the environmental health on us once saying we were fly tipping next to a job. when the guy came out and saw my name was written all over the kit and we didnt look very fly, we showed him the empty magpies nest we chucked into the no mans land across the road, and explained that i didnt want 10kilos of stones and clay going through the chipper so we gave it back to nature, he was sound and just laughed.:001_smile:

conifer topping / trimming can get like an episode of Relocation, Relocation sometimes haha.

But for someone to just lye?? that must really make the blood boil.

dont you just love the public, thats a big old hedge mate. the fingers will be buzing at night i bet.

Big is the word, I've allowed 7 days to take 6ft off the height and trim the sides :001_smile:

5 years since they were last done which hasn't made trimming them easy, I have measured them at 200 metres long

SWB, i know where this hedge is and for most of its length there is a fairly wide verge on the other side. Dean i bet it's fun at school run time along there when you do the other side.

Done the wide verge section today, now we're down to the pavement width and road section (dog crap an all). The most awkward bit I've left till last

I don't know why, but there's not many yummy mummies at school run time in this place to offset the inconvenience of having to work round them.

Penfold: Brighouse must have all the yummies here then, that's why I don't normally have to work more than a mile from home

SWB: There's only two landy loads a day and we're tipping on site :001_smile:

Birds have moved onto some conifers at the other end of the site now, so no lannce required :001_smile:, may end up having to do them as well.
