bought a used one a few yrs back (£150) well used and battered but cut awesome:thumbup:

pity it got nicked:thumbdown:

to be honest these days i would not pay £500 for that, when i can get a 550xp from my local dealer for £485

550 my next saw:thumbup:

but the bid it currently 350.. that was my thinking

Which isn't a huge difference to going and buying a brand new one from the dealer with it's full warranty.

If I wanted a 346 I'd pay the extra £100 or so and go to the dealer.

Plus, it's a 346 - it's one saw I've used enough not to bother owning one

fair play.. im trying to persuade work to buy me a 550 as the 361 they gave me it falling to bits.. i now dont bother with it and use my 346xp and get an small alowance

After a 346, a 550 will feel like a breath of fresh air - it's not that I really dislike the 346 or anything, it's just felt so dated for so long and I couldn't bear to actually buy one as it was no real imporvement over my old 353 (except a tiny bit more top end and less mid)

346 is an awsome saw!! the 550 and 560 are too problematic for me! after having a 560 and taking it back numerous times to get fixed i got rid of it, it seems to me that these new saws coming out dont seem to have the build quality that the old ones do! my 560 went through av mounts like no tommorow, the top case melted cause the top of the exhust had cracked and thats only the minor problems!
