Yeh,that 500 was a fun bike,but it just wanted to be spitefull all the time,The throttle used to stick when you least wanted it to,like you would give it a handfull,& come corner time it now & then didnt shut off..

I did get a lovely hole shot on it one time,but unfortunately it shamed me at the first bend in resplendant style,I wont go into detail here as it brings back the tremors that I suffered as a result.

The weston beach race was fun,I can recomend it to anyone who likes to realy suffer,I felt like I had wrestled a gorilla in a shot blasting booth.

Moto X is for boys, real men ride Enduros! Ha Ha. We do a few moto x practice tracks but most race Enduro

 

Yes I agree, Enduro great sport for men not boys with toys.

He was getting fast on a track but didnt have the staying power for the long haul

 

All great fun and miss it with fond memories. Before the kids it was Road Racing and done ok with that too

Will try enduro sometime when I'm fitter on a bike a few laps of a track and I struggle to hang on!

If you wanna do a fantastic enduro, then go and do the Dawn to Dusk (D2D) at Seven Sister in Wales. You can choose either 6, 12 or 24 hours or pain, either on your own or with mates to make a team.

 

Done it several times on KTM200EXC and loved it despite only ever placing mid field, and getting hurt and all sorts. Great atmosphere, and it makes for a fantastic weekend away. Every time I think about it.... I want my bike back!

That would be good crack there's a few of us go so could have a team wish I'd started this years ago it's all I think about at the minute haha
