I have a steering lock, clutch claw,I have 2x metal posts that pull up from the ground once Landy is on drive,my wife's car is parked across the outside of the gate,and a big German shepperd security guard I would be gutted if mine went it's such a good work tool and has never let me down.

Hi mate I don't let mine out of my sight,not even for one min wish it didn't have to be this way,takes over your life protecting your kit,the job is tough enough then you have the worry of your kit getting knocked,sometimes I wonder is it worth doing this job?

Got an immobiliser fitted to mine recently. £150.00 all in and a certificate for my insurance.

 

 

This is one thing I'm interested in but recently heard of professional thieves stealing ones with ecu. They break in to the truck & plug in the plug & play analysis box and override the immobilisers, factory and retro. They break the steering lock then drive off. Takes about 60 seconds.

Hi 18 your right they had near us 6)8 land rovers most TD5 they laptops to remap them what can you do against people like that thanks John

Think this is a massive thing in the transit world too, unlocking van with tibbe pick turn ingniton on, plug in bit of a reprogram and off it goes. I see several found dumped with missing engines/boxes etc
