It's dry here Jon but heavy rain all day..and had a little job today so got my boy to do it...and gave him £30 for an hours work so its nice to spoil him.dont work with him anymore so today was great...he has helped me out since he was a little boy.....very proud of him.he's my rock and my best friend.

He's a Chef these days and got a good name for himself but misses tree work so if Special Branch get the big jobs coming in as I looks like we will, he will be joining us.

It was an absolute downpour.but like me, he loves the elements and doesn't consider wether its wet or dry...just gets on with it. We have very thick skin up here and its fully waterproof.

He has been in bar work/restaurant work for years in the evenings...he's very social unlike me.loves crowds and a lad's lad. But started taking an interest in chainsaws and climbing when he was 7 or 8...went to college got his tickets a few years back even excelled at pole climbing...I got to know Ian Flatters because of him. When I got my first tipper he used to flick the switch...he's a natural....

You're a tougher man than me, Mr B. I was looking out of a classroom window today at some guys digging in the churchyard and was bloody glad to be inside. Cold, wet, windy, Southern wuss.
