SILKY WORK - YouTube I should like to visit your training centre this summer!...In th meantime here is a short video of why I LOVE the Sawpod.Watch in HD. In Small trees with tight spaces the Sawpod comes into it,s own...I can drill away at little Lime crown lifts always knowing I can get to my Silky fast and return it to the pod effortlessly! I did 18 small Limes all in a row,one after another never needed to look where my saw was as it is permanently attatched to my leg! Thanks Mr and Mrs Darbyshire for making my job so much easier!!!:thumbup::thumbup: see you soon:001_smile:

Finally, I am on holiday for several days! I will travel up to Durham to be with my family. And of course, the christening of my Grandson Oscar...when I return I will be thinking about my next move...I have made enquires regarding teaching and arboricultural assesing with a couple of colleges which would still give me a couple of days a week free to be a travelling arborist once again!:) and so to this last week? We had a day without the crew leader and lead climberso I was in charge for the day...the youngest member of the team is rarely given the opportunity to climb and because of this often is just used for dragging and chipping and then raking...I have noticed that he is losing confidence and this leads tension between other members of the team......so....today was all about him.letsgo and find a nice Oak tree, climb it together...look at his tequnique and answer any questions he might have....it was a great afternoon and I feel he progressed a lot....we have to encouragetbe younger lads in tree work...not just use them for tbe stuff others might not like doing...they are the future...

Wise words mate. I think you'd be a great teacher, despite having never met you (yet!). You seem like you'd get the best out of the students with your love of arboriculture. Good luck with the next move :)
