In 2 weeks time it will be my Grandson's christening. My Son has asked me to carve something special that will be a talking point and little Oscar can use as he grows up. As I have been stumpgrinding I have been keeping my eyes open for some suitable wood. Came to grind out a small sycamore stump...used the 044 to make the basic shape, tied it to my trusty bike and brought it home....got a woodpecker hole which I want to incorporate into it and shall be chiseling away at it over the next few days....going to make little Oscar a new chair each year!
