i,ll call you today Stumpy....if i can help on weekends....i have my bicycle...full kit and you,re just around the corner! Had a great day yesterday.Chipper course (Another ticket i have but the boss said i may as well do it again as the new boys who started this week didn,t) One of the best tutors i,ve had on any course. Martin Spooner if anyone knows him from Derbyshire,Ex Army, mountaineer and really great bloke! Enjoyed my healthy lunch (no more full English for a couple of months) in Boston Manor Park so had the Big Cedar to admire as i enjoyed a break. we chose a location for the chipper course in the vacinity of a storm damaged tree we had to remove so at the end of the day the Manager jumped up and took out the top to end the day....and a bonus for me! he gave me a Sawpod which for me is a real treat...A holster for my favourite weapon!:thumbup::thumbup:

Top stuff Paul. SAWPOD is brilliant.... I'm surprised you didn't have one already!

And I think you should start every new page with a classic record to listen to while catching up....! Love the orb, went to see the toxygene tour in Birmingham when they released the album. Definitely a good choice mate, enjoyed little fluffy clouds immensely!

Had the Chipper assesment yesterday.Did a little read through of the questions in the morning but my memory aint as good as it used to be.luckily this is about the third chipper ticket i,ve done and it,s all very familiar...anyway i managed to answer all the questions and i do enjoy the process.i have to say at this point how different the training was for this unit and the previous stumpgrinder ticket(Both with the same Arb training company).the day,s training is informal enough but in depth enough to cover all the bases..Coffee breaks when you need them and we even met up on the evening for a pint:thumbup1: Martin Spooner (Spooney) on here is a legend. I like people who clearly have a passion for this industry and an Energy about them and he is this...he delivers the notes very well and answers any questions completely...out on site he ran through the technical side of the chipper without missing a bolt or grease nipple:lol: i was very impressed and we are to be using them for any furthur training that we may require...The company director Ian looks after the assesment itself and he is just as proffessional..you can have a laugh with him in the pub but as soon as your test begins he is as very knowledgable bloke and serious about picking your brains for the complete answer...in a Nutshell,a cracking Arb training/Assesment company and i would HIGHLY recommend them:001_smile:
