Yeah,agreed, it would make a big difference if all the jobs were in the same postcode or scattered all over the county.

grass is not a easy one to price as there is always a cheeper bloke following u and undercutting prices

price the job for what u feel u can make a bit of money out the job if u cant ur wasting ur time

no point working just to turn the bank balance over mate

i charge anywhere between 18 and 38 pound a hour depends what machine im using most the bigger machines are on price per job though

Also consider waste disposal cost.

I've got a multi chip mower for regular clients which saves taking away the cuttings.

Not everyone likes it but it does a good job IMHO.

I've been using a honda roller mower 476 ( I think thats the model ) and have been getting 25 quid per average sized garden ( a little over or under 10 x 10 mtr, that might take an hour to do. Sometimes 45 quid if the garden is double the size. Do you think that sounds about right? I've not been taking any cuttings with me, it goes in the green bin, and on another note - How much is a waste license these days, what are the implications of having one, and how much do tip sites charge for a few builders bags of grass disposal? Got a big garden to clear leaves off, a rake, bag and stihl blower vac thing.
