!MS 362 Mishap!

I've seen a piston ruined by using the rope method! The rope went out the exhaust and cracked the edge of the piston crown off above the ring! I remember someone saying tie a knot in the end of the rope to stop this happening.

Personally I've used a half inch impact gun for years if the clutch has an hexagon on to remove them if not a hammer and punch. I always tighten them with the chain brake.
