Hi chaps, I'm looking to start tree climbing as a hobby soon, I can't really afford the type of arb harness I'd like, so I'm looking for recommendations on general climbing harnesses that would be decent for use in the tree.

Whilst I won't be spending all day in it I'd still like some comfort :001_smile:

Any advice please.

I have a pal who's a tree surgeon and climber so I'd like to go out with him when I can, I certainly can't ask to borrow his kit so I'd like to start building up my own slowly and inexpensively (if there is such a thing )

Cheers

Consider one of the Petzl Navaho harnesses.

Or if this is too expensive, one from Singing Rock - these two harnesses still have side D rings. I don't know if you'll need the Ds.

And as usual - try before you buy (if possible).

Many thanks, from what I'm seeing I might as well save up and go for a half decent Arb harness. I'm thinking of selling a few now unused items and build up a better budget.

for cheap and comfort try the willians.. if you want to spend abit more money try the skylotec kolibri.
