Hi folks ,

i have a leaking fuel tank on our Stihl HS80 hedgecutter.

it is leaking from the rubber/ plastic part that fixes into the tank , it has a lot of play (around 2 mm )so it leaks fuel like mad. See pic below :

any suggestions on what to use to seal it ?? bit worried about using some types of sealant due to the Petrol eating it .

Thanks

Steve

sell it and get a hs81, the vibes on those things are crazy!

i have never found any thing that works really apart from new bits.

are they that bad? i have a hs80 with a 30" cut on and it gets heavy after a bit of throwing it around lol

Thanks for the replies guys, i will get a new bit on order then ,

as for its performance and weight issues, cant say i have had any problems with it.

what are the differences between it and the 81 ?? do they look the same ?? or does it look like the 85 with a curved handle ??

Thanks

steve
