$60 for a hi vis vest... you having a laugh! Dickies do a Surveyors one, with pockets for phone and documents etc.... for £8 + vat! See Dickies Hi Vis Technical Safety Waistcoat EN471 SA22020 dickies workwear

That isnt anywhere near the quality of the Oregon 1, I have an Oregon 1 and the quality is excellent, very thick material that's very tough. I have seen the dickies and they are a lot thinner and not as well made.

No. Same job, just spending longer wearing hi-viz. I hate the cheap ones as Velcro never stays shut. I have some with a zip at the moment - a big improvement but always looking to get a more substantial one as opposed to disposable ones currently used

Although the pics may be deceiving my aging eyes, the Oregon looks shorter in length than the Dickies, thus suiting the climber as it wont require tucking into the harness. It will also suit the shorter dwarflike stature of Mr McTree, who is notorious for his short arms and deep pockets. The pockets on the Oregon appear nearer to his hands.
