BIG SAWS-best choice.

True words of experience-priceless, am starting to veer towards the husky big saws as opposed to the 66/880 stihls. Is it me or do stihls saws in general sound slower than huskys. Watched numerous clips on the tube as well as using several of each brand-my new 346 xp is the dogs b******s-am so impressed, as well with my 365 special-I suppose I am just waiting to be nudged a little further -funds permitting...Nick.

 

To me huskies always seem to have a bit more torque to the equivalent stihl and I find the pick up speed as you get on the throttle is quicker, which is why for snedding up I'll always pick up the husky if I have access to one. I'm not basing any of that on figures, just how the saws 'feels' to me when I'm using it.

You are right I think . Huskys against Sthil like for like The Husqvarna clears the chip way better
