truck man top ovs mpg

Hi, anyone done a mpg comparison with and without a hi capacity truck man back? i have one on my double cab ranger and mpg is shite with it on, not tried it off yet

Better mpg with the top on my L200 2 seater. I noticed the difference straight away. Yes it's heavier but the wind goes over the top instead pushing the tailgate. Tonneau cover would sort that though.

My old Nav did 50 miles more per tank with a tonneau cover fitted, so I reckon Mick is on the money.

What do you class as "shite" mpg? I've got one on my Ranger Super Cab and get 31mpg.

turns out iv got a dicky fuel gauge, has been showing empty with 20 liters left in the tank. iv only just got the truck so only just found this out. i was working it out at 18mpg! like i say thankfully the fuel gauge is dicky and its actually doing 27. last time i trust a fuel guage
