Motorola did a range - TLKR T3 T5 & T7 seem to recall. Not sure if they are still around, but were sold by Argos amongst others.

We have the T5 and just happened to do a test last weekend and was quite clear about 500m away through the trees. Dont know how much further it would go as that is the limit of the lads range at the moment - as imposed by his mum.

Can anyone recommend a set of reasonably priced rechargeable walkie talkies with good range that would be suitable for young kids?

I don't want toys but then again I am not looking for top of the range professional ones either.

Thanks

We used to use Midland on the shoot for partridge days , three separate teams of beaters all coming from different directions about a half a mile apart and they worred well.
