Did like seeing the 62 year old logger who'd had no accidents in his whole career.

Me too Ed!!

He had just the right attitude!! IMO!!

He did not come out with loads of bull about how brave he was or how dangerous the job was, but he did say that you could die if you weren't careful.

I often think that some of the young lads who go on about have dangerous this job is bring the danger with them.

I think they made the right call regarding that trainee, he was way too nervous in my opinion.

Not sure he would ever make a production cutter.

Anybody else notice the difference in the focus on safety between these Canadian crews and the American crews in Axemen?

Much less gun ho

It made me rethink about the age I was planning to pack in climbing, revised it to 70 now :001_cool:

Spot on Dean!!

Too many people stop because they think they should and others have.

Your age is just a number, I ain't gona stop until I find I just cannot do it no matter how hard I push my self, not sure that day will ever come!

It was nice to see the concern the safety guy had for the Faller. His priority was safety, not production.

Also, the climbers that had driven 2 1/2 hours to site, the safety guy cancelled the work because the air ambulance could'nt fly in.

Totally different to the Oregon fallers in Axemen, where production came above all else.
