I've sold some of the 50cc 51.51 models. They are a little bit heavier than the equivalent Husky models but are very well put together and parts are easy to get (I have'nt needed much as yet). Can't speak about the smaller/top handled models.

I have had one of their strimmers for about 7 years, and never had a problem. Charterhouse Richmond were importing them, but i think that they are no longer around, so there is nobody importing at the moment. Can somebody please correct me as i dropped my strimmer and cracked the tank. Hot glue gun repair is not as good as i would like.

They are now being imported by Midland Power in Worcester tel 01905763027 . If you cant get the part you require from them then PM me and I can source it from the Irish distributor.

That model looks the worst one in there range for power to weight ratio.

They have two other saws that are the exact same weight (5.2kg) but more HP.

__________Kw/HP

MOD. 51.51 3.8/2.7

MOD. 56.56 4.1/3.0

MOD. 62.62 4.6/3.4

I accept what you say but for farm/general use the price is also lower.

The guy who does my chainsaw repairs/resharps has started selling these as they were about the only make he could source that have nothing to do with China, they are built completely in Italy. Even the smaller Stihls are built in China now apparently and I think I saw "Made in China" on a Husqavana box.

I think he was doing the top handled saw for under £300.

I have his contact details if any one is interested.
